Median Income & You

Effective November 1st, 2011

The United States Trustee has revised the median income levels for the state of Iowa. This is one element to determine your eligibility to file either a Chapter 7 or a Chapter 13. Remember, generally everyone can file bankruptcy, but you will qualify for either a Chapter 7 or a Chapter 13 based on your ability to pass the means test.
